Authentic Cajun Cooking
Our Story
My Dad, the Cajun!
I moved to Colorado when I was 10 months old! But, by the time I was 2, MawMaw Maggie had me learning the Cajun Call! I came home to Colorado screaming, "Aaaaaa-iiiiiiiii!"
Needless to say, being born in Baton Rouge, LA must have left me with southern blood, because I could never get enough of my visits to the south! The food, the culture and the weather were what led me to enroll at LSU for college!
Being a southern girl at heart, and an LSU Alumni has had me returning to the Deep South every year for a taste of my dad, Marlen Babin's, recipes for Étouffée, Gumbo, Jambalaya and the famous White Chocolate Bread Pudding.
Dad started this restaurant because everyone smelled his cooking and wanted more! His health has taken a turn for the worse, and he is not longer able to run it by himself. We would love your prayers for his health to recover, but for now, Parrain's will continue on with me.

Our family favorites from Gonzales, LA are going to continue to bless the Biloxi culture! "I hope you hungry, cher!!"
